Create a draft status page
Open Status pages from the account menu. Enter a page title and an optional address such as company-status. Select the checkers to publish and give each a separate public service name. Up to five pages can be created. Leave Publish this status page unchecked while preparing the page.
Publish only the information customers need
The public page exposes its title and the selected public names and states. It does not expose checker targets, ports, search strings, tokens, account identifiers, incident descriptions, or captured response data. States refresh every 30 seconds while the page is open. A maintenance window is visible as Maintenance.
Share a client-facing service list
Use names such as Customer portal, Online store, and Email delivery rather than technical addresses. Check Publish this status page and save, then share the displayed /status/ address. Each selected checker must belong to your account. A checker that has not reported yet is shown as waiting or checking.
Control access and unpublish when needed
A published page is public to anyone with its URL; it is not password-protected. Public names are published exactly as entered, so do not put private information in them. Pages request no search indexing, but that is not an access control. Uncheck publication and save, or delete the page, to stop public access. Deleting a status page does not delete its checkers.
